Updated 24/05/2023

On behalf of Cambridgeshire County darts, I would like to welcome the players, officials, and supporters of Dorset to the home of Cambridgeshire County darts here at the GER sports and social club for the final weekend in the National League fixtures. I hope you enjoy your weekend with us and I am sure we will see some great darts.
In our last game away in Gwent we had another great win, 20-16, to extend our unbeaten run to 8 games, well done each and every one of you.
So, here we are at the last game of the season, and after a slow start, we now find ourselves with lots to play for, including potential promotion and individual team league positions, and this is down to the commitment, hard work and support of each and every player, official and all the helpers that have played a part this season, I thank you all.
I want every player that is playing this weekend to go out there and try your best, support all your team mates, but most of all, enjoy yourselves and we will see where we end up at the end of the weekend and all the other results are in too.
I would like to take the opportunity to wish all the players the best of luck and to thank all the officials and helpers from both counties that give up their time for free to make sure these games go ahead as smoothly as possible.
I would also like to thank in advance Rosa, Nev, Sarah and their team in the kitchen and also Kim, the GER’s bar manager, and all her staff behind the bar, between them all they will do their best to make sure you are all fed and refreshed all weekend and they do a great job.
Lastly, to all the players from both counties that have qualified for the champions cup, I wish you all the best of luck and I will see you there.
And when the weekend is over, I wish everyone a safe journey home.
